Stacie Spain
Stacie Spain serves as the Marketing Manager for The Peabody Memphis, a historic luxury hotel with an iconic tradition. For nearly five years, she has worked closely with the famous Peabody Ducks, even stepping into the unique role of Duckmaster from time to time. In this role, she guides the hotel’s five resident Mallard Ducks from their rooftop “Duck Palace” to the Lobby Fountain for their daily swim—a cherished tradition that has delighted guests for nearly 100 years.
Driven by a passion for education, communication, and historic preservation, Stacie has collaborated with organizations like Google, National Geographic, Southern Living, and Forbes magazines. When she’s not busy championing The Peabody’s legacy, you can find her flying her drone, capturing event photos, leading tours of the city of Memphis, playing the violin, or caring for her mixed flock of birds.
Spain Farm is a family project – This land will soon be a century-owned farm. Originally, a small sweet potato and cattle farm in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, purchased by my husband’s family after WWI. Our goal is to rejuvenate the farm’s life.
